Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and multiple meteorological models project a high near 100°F in Dallas on September 16, 2026, under sunny skies with southeast winds of 5–10 mph and heat indices reaching 105°F. This aligns with the market’s leading 98–99°F (60%) and 100–101°F (27.5%) outcomes, reflecting trader consensus on above-average late-summer warmth amid a continuing heat pattern. Persistent high pressure and southerly flow have maintained elevated temperatures, with today’s expected peak around 100–101°F providing a strong baseline. Historical September averages near 89.5°F underscore the anomaly, though model consensus shows limited variability and minimal precipitation risk that could alter the daily maximum.
