Latest National Weather Service forecasts indicate San Francisco's September 15 high temperature will likely fall in the 68–71°F range, as persistent marine-layer influence and onshore flow from the Pacific keep conditions near seasonal norms. Model consensus from NOAA and local guidance shows limited warming potential, with any offshore wind shift or high-pressure ridge strengthening the main variables that could push readings into the low 70s. Historical mid-September averages hover near 70°F, but forecast uncertainty remains elevated given rapid changes in coastal stratus and wind patterns. Updated model runs and morning observations on the 14th and 15th will provide the clearest signals ahead of market resolution.
