**Trader sentiment reflects the typical late-September peak temperatures in Jeddah’s hot desert climate, where historical averages show daily highs near 35–36°C with lows around 28–30°C.** Current forecasts from multiple models cluster between 35–38°C for September 19 under stable, sunny conditions with minimal cloud cover and low precipitation risk. Slight differences arise from variations in predicted wind speeds (often 5–15 km/h from the southwest), humidity levels near 50–70%, and Red Sea sea-breeze effects that can modestly moderate or enhance daytime heating. The narrow spread in market-implied odds across 34–38°C captures this forecast uncertainty and the narrow range of plausible outcomes, while extremes remain improbable given the absence of unusual synoptic patterns or significant model divergence at this short range. Updated official guidance closer to the date will likely refine the exact maximum.
