This market will resolve based on the highest temperature recorded in the 'Daily Observations' table on Weather Underground, not the figure displayed in the 'Day High & Low' summary section; in the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Daily Observations table shall be the primary resolution source not the Day High & Low section. This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Taipei Songshan Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 20 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the Taipei Songshan Airport Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/tw/taipei/RCSS. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Official forecasts from Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration show northern Taiwan highs of 29–31°C on September 20 under a northeasterly flow, with partly cloudy skies and low precipitation chances, placing the market-implied 32°C outcome at 46.5% as traders price in modest afternoon warming. Recent observations confirm daytime maxima of 29–31°C across the past week, consistent with September climatology of 30–31°C averages, while model consensus indicates stable steering patterns without typhoon influence. Key variables include urban heat-island effects in Taipei and exact timing of peak readings; updated CWA briefings and model runs over the next 48 hours will refine resolution probabilities around the 30–33°C cluster.
