Recent National Weather Service forecasts and supporting models indicate a high near 64–66°F for San Francisco on August 29 amid a strengthening marine layer and persistent onshore flow, following a brief mid-week warm-up to the low 70s. This pattern favors the closely matched 66–67°F and 68–69°F bins that together command about 70% of trader volume, as ensemble guidance shows modest spread around the official point forecast while typical downtown-to-airport microclimate differences add resolution uncertainty. Breezy west winds and partial morning cloud cover limit afternoon warming relative to the 69.7°F climatological average, keeping higher outcomes like 70–71°F at just 16%. Updated model runs and the next NWS forecast discussion remain key near-term catalysts.
