Detroit Tigers hold home-field advantage at Comerica Park entering the series finale against the Kansas City Royals, riding a five-game winning streak after 2-1 and narrow victories in the first two matchups, fueled by Wenceel Pérez's go-ahead homer and Dillon Dingler's clutch double. Royals, mired at 7-11 in AL Central standings with MLB's 28th-ranked offense at 3.38 runs per game, seek to snap a four-game road skid amid pitching injuries to Bailey Falter (elbow, IL) and Alec Marsh (shoulder, 60-day IL), plus outfielder Isaac Collins' recent knee issue. Probable starters Kris Bubic (2-1, 2.50 ERA, fresh off career-high 11 Ks) versus Keider Montero (.245 opponent avg at home) tilt toward a low-scoring affair, with Tigers' momentum reflecting trader consensus on their recent form and rest edge.
