Cincinnati Reds hold trader consensus edge at home in Great American Ball Park after an 8-3 win over the San Francisco Giants yesterday, where Giants starter Tyler Mahle surrendered eight runs amid San Francisco's early 6-11 skid and fifth-place NL West standing. Reds (10-7, first in NL Central) ride momentum into Thursday's series finale with Chase Burns (1-1, 3.31 ERA) facing Landen Roupp (2-1, 3.24 ERA) in a tight pitching matchup. Both clubs feature weak offenses league-wide, thinned by injuries—Giants without outfielders Jared Oliva and Harrison Bader (recent 10-day IL), Reds sidelined by Hunter Greene (60-day elbow) and Nick Lodolo (15-day IL). Mild 76°F weather with light SW winds favors hitters in the park's short porches.
