Toronto Blue Jays hold a 1-0 series lead over the host Milwaukee Brewers after a 9-7 extra-innings victory on April 14, exposing Milwaukee's bullpen vulnerabilities during the Brewers' sixth straight loss and marking both teams' 3-7 records over their last 10 games. Game two pits Jays right-hander Dylan Cease (2.45 ERA, 26 strikeouts in 14.2 innings) against Brewers' Chad Patrick (0.73 ERA in 12.1 innings), setting up a potential low-scoring affair amid middling offenses ranking mid-pack in slugging. Extensive injured lists plague both—Toronto without George Springer, Jose Berrios, and Alejandro Kirk; Milwaukee missing Christian Yelich and Jackson Chourio—while Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s hot bat (.328 AVG) bolsters Jays momentum at American Family Field under mild 65-degree conditions.
