The rubber match of this interleague series at American Family Field pits Toronto Blue Jays lefty Patrick Corbin against Milwaukee Brewers righty Brandon Sproat, both showing early-season ERAs over 9.00 in limited action, with series tied 1-1 after Toronto's 9-7 extra-innings win on April 14 and Milwaukee's 2-1 rally victory on April 15 that snapped a six-game skid. Both clubs grapple with injuries—Blue Jays missing José Berríos (elbow), George Springer (toe), and Alejandro Kirk (hand), while Brewers lack Christian Yelich (groin)—thinning lineups amid cool, rainy conditions that could favor the home bullpen. Brewers hold a 9-8 mark atop the NL Central; Jays sit 7-10 in the AL East.
