If Google does not release the specified list by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No." The resolution source for this market will be the specified list as published by Google.Major studio franchises and high-profile releases are shaping trader focus on Google search volume for 2026 films, with sustained post-release interest in summer hits like Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day driving early momentum alongside viral horror entries such as Obsession. Recent September releases including the Resident Evil reboot directed by Zach Cregger and Practical Magic 2 have spiked immediate queries and box-office attention, while competitive dynamics favor MCU and legacy titles with broad marketing. Key upcoming catalysts include the December 18 clash of Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part Three, plus The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, which could generate last-minute search surges; traders weigh historical patterns where blockbuster performance and star power correlate strongly with year-end Google Trends rankings.
