**Persistent late-summer heat across North Texas, with official National Weather Service forecasts calling for sunny conditions and a high near 100°F on September 10, underpins trader consensus around the 98–101°F range.** Recent days have featured highs of 100–102°F amid an extended dry spell and heat advisories, with heat indices reaching 108°F, keeping surface temperatures elevated despite light southerly winds. Model guidance shows limited cooling ahead of any frontal passage, while the seasonal average high of roughly 91°F and the 106°F record from 1909 provide context for the current elevated baseline. Updated short-range forecasts and any overnight model shifts remain the key near-term catalysts for adjustments in these market-implied probabilities.
