In Brazil's Acre state Senate contest scheduled for October 4, 2026, a crowded field of roughly eight candidates keeps second-place positioning highly uncertain. Recent August polls from Delta and Real Time Big Data show top contenders Gladson Cameli (PP), Márcio Bittar (PL), Jorge Viana (PT), and Mara Rocha (Republicanos) clustered within a few points of one another in the 15-25% range, with Sérgio Petecão (PSD), Eduardo Velloso (Solidariedade), and Júnior Feitosa (DC) also registering measurable support. This fragmentation, combined with the state's polarized regional alliances and the staggered election of two senators per cycle, leaves the ordering below first place fluid. Traders price second place near even odds across the board because small shifts in undecided voters, party-list dynamics, or last-minute endorsements could reorder the middle of the pack before ballots close.
