Recent National Weather Service and model guidance project a high near 29°C (84°F) for Los Angeles on September 19 under sunny skies after morning low clouds or patchy fog, consistent with typical late-September marine influence and recent daily maxima of 77–81°F. This consensus, combined with light onshore flow and no strong heat advection, underpins the dominant 76–79°F market outcomes. Traders appear to discount higher-end model runs given historical September variability and the moderating effect of the Pacific, while upcoming NWS forecast updates and any shifts in the marine layer will likely refine probabilities before resolution.
