Current forecasts from multiple models indicate a high near 28°C for Seoul and Incheon on September 18 under partly cloudy skies and moderate easterly flow, which limits afternoon heating while allowing sufficient insolation for seasonal norms. This positions 28°C as the market leader at 54.5% implied probability, with 29°C (24%) and 27°C (20%) reflecting minor uncertainties in cloud cover, wind shifts, or model spread. September climatology shows typical highs around 26–28°C as the region transitions from summer monsoon influences, and recent stable guidance through September 17 supports limited upside risk above 29°C given the absence of stronger southerly advection or clear-sky conditions. Traders appear to weigh these official meteorological consensus signals heavily, with lower probabilities assigned to outliers that would require unexpected changes in steering patterns or boundary-layer moisture.
