Official National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model guidance for downtown Los Angeles and coastal stations project a sunny Saturday with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s Fahrenheit, driven by persistent onshore flow, a moderating marine layer, and limited influence from distant Hurricane Marie moisture. These conditions support the market’s leading 80-81°F (45.5%) and 78-79°F (33.5%) bins, consistent with climatological September averages near 77°F and recent daily maxima in the mid-70s to low-80s. Warmer 82-83°F outcomes remain plausible if marine cooling weakens or inland heating strengthens, while higher thresholds appear unlikely absent rapid model shifts. Updated NWS point forecasts and afternoon model runs through September 4 will provide the final inputs for resolution.
