Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for downtown Los Angeles and coastal areas on September 3, 2026, shows morning low clouds and fog clearing to sunny conditions with afternoon highs centered in the upper 70s to low 80s. Sea breezes and the marine layer typical of early September moderate peak temperatures near the historical average of 76–77°F, supporting the market's leading 76–77°F (50.5%) and 78–79°F (30.5%) bins. Stable high-pressure patterns and light southwest winds limit afternoon heating, while minor model spreads around 74–82°F explain the smaller probabilities for cooler or warmer outcomes. Updated forecasts over the next 48 hours will refine these ranges ahead of resolution.
