**Forecast consensus from the National Weather Service and other models points to a high in the upper 70s°F for Atlanta on September 25, 2026, consistent with the tightly clustered market probabilities across the 72–87°F bins.** A cooler, drier air mass has moved in behind recent showers, producing mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies, light northerly winds, and minimal cloud cover that limits daytime heating. This follows a period of warmer September conditions, with the date’s 1991–2020 climatological average high near 81°F. Ensemble guidance shows only modest spread in maximum temperatures, driven by small differences in boundary-layer mixing, dewpoint recovery, and any residual moisture. Resolution will hinge on the official daily maximum recorded at the primary Atlanta observing site, with traders weighting the latest model runs and NWS updates issued in the final 48 hours before the date.
