Recent National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance for Dallas shows an overnight low of 71–74°F on September 25 under persistent high pressure with light easterly flow and minimal cloud cover, placing the daily minimum firmly in the low 70s. This consensus supports market-implied probabilities clustered around 70–74°F ranges while explaining the near-even split between sub-62°F and 80°F+ outcomes as trader assessment of residual forecast spread in dewpoint advection and boundary-layer mixing. With resolution hinging on the precise 24-hour minimum recorded at official stations, upcoming afternoon model runs and evening NWS updates will likely tighten the distribution ahead of the observation window.
