The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Beijing Capital International Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/cn/beijing/ZBAA. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Meteorological observations from Beijing Capital International Airport station and China Meteorological Administration reports confirm the high temperature peaked at 25°C around mid-afternoon on April 29 under clear skies and light southwest winds, aligning with forecast model consensus from AccuWeather and CMA predicting 24–25°C amid high-pressure dominance. This diurnal peak reflects standard solar insolation patterns for late April, with relative humidity dropping to 14–20% enhancing sensible temperatures without exceeding thresholds for higher outcomes. Trader consensus at 100% implied probability reflects skin-in-the-game alignment with real-time data, leaving scant window for challenge—a rare late-day convective heat burst before sunset (~19:00 local) could push to 26°C, though current cooling trajectories and historical April analogs (averaging 20°C highs) make this improbable. Final Wunderground data release will resolve.
