Official Met Office forecasts for London on September 17 project a daytime maximum of 21–22 °C after early light rain clears to partly cloudy conditions, with southwesterly winds of 10–15 mph. This aligns with model consensus showing mild Atlantic air masses and limited solar heating under variable cloud cover, consistent with late-summer climatology where highs near 20 °C are typical. Recent morning updates from monitoring agencies have reinforced the 20–21 °C range as the most probable outcome, supporting the market's strong implied probability for 21 °C while leaving modest room for 22 °C if afternoon clearing intensifies.
