Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus point to a Los Angeles high temperature in the mid- to upper 70s on September 20, 2026, driven by persistent marine layer low clouds and fog in the morning that limit solar heating before partial afternoon clearing. This setup aligns with typical September climatology, where average highs near 76°F reflect coastal moderation from onshore flow and the Pacific high-pressure influence. Updated model runs show minimal deviation, with light southwest winds and no significant warming aloft expected to push readings into the 80s. Trader consensus reflects these stable conditions, with resolution hinging on official observations from stations like Los Angeles International Airport.
