Trader consensus centers on a minimum temperature of 16–17 °C for Milan on September 18, 2026, reflecting persistent cloud cover, light easterly flow, and scattered showers that have limited nocturnal radiative cooling. Official model runs and station observations show overnight lows stabilizing near 17 °C, with dew points in the mid-teens supporting only modest further drops before sunrise. Historical September climatology for the Po Valley places typical minima around 15–16 °C under clear skies, so the current moist, overcast pattern elevates the floor. Key variables still in play include any late-day clearing that could allow an additional degree of cooling or renewed showers that would hold temperatures steadier; updated ECMWF and GFS guidance expected this evening will likely narrow the remaining spread between the closely matched 16 °C and 17 °C outcomes.
