Recent forecast models indicate a shift to northwesterly flow advecting cooler maritime air into Moscow, with expected overnight lows on September 6–7 ranging from 7–9 °C under mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers. This setup, following warmer conditions earlier in the week, aligns with the elevated market-implied odds for an 8 °C or 9 °C minimum while the 45.5 % probability on 13 °C or higher reflects lingering uncertainty over exact clearing timing and model spread. Historical September 7 averages near 9.5 °C provide baseline context, and traders are likely monitoring the next GFS and ECMWF runs plus official Hydrometeorological Center updates for resolution criteria tied to the daily minimum.
