In the BMW Open qualifying first round on Munich's outdoor clay courts, higher-ranked Damir Dzumhur (ATP No. 81) enters as the No. 2 seed with veteran experience, including multiple clay Challenger titles and a recent Monte Carlo Masters appearance despite an early exit to Fabian Marozsan. Vitaliy Sachko (No. 180), riding momentum from a Barletta Challenger semifinal and a recent 17-spot rankings climb after strong European clay results, including a straight-sets win over Francesco Forti, challenges with aggressive baseline play. No head-to-head history exists; trader consensus likely weighs Dzumhur's surface affinity and consistency against Sachko's qualifier upside and fresher legs, with no reported injuries or withdrawals affecting the matchup.
