The fragmented Brazilian presidential field ahead of the October 4 first round keeps fourth-place probabilities tightly clustered among several mid-tier contenders. Recent polls show Lula and Flávio Bolsonaro locked in a statistical tie for the top spots, leaving Augusto Cury, Ronaldo Caiado, Renan Santos, and Romeu Zema competing for the remaining positions amid rising online visibility for Cury and steady but modest support for established governors. High voter rejection rates for the frontrunners and economic concerns have sustained polarization without clarifying lower-order rankings, while the short campaign window limits further separation. Trader consensus reflects this uncertainty, with outcomes hinging on final-week turnout shifts, debate performances, and any late consolidation among smaller parties.
