Lula maintains a commanding lead in Polymarket pricing for Brazil's October 4 first-round presidential winner due to consistent polling advantages of 3–8 points over Flávio Bolsonaro, with the incumbent typically at 38–41% and the main challenger at 33–37%. Recent surveys from Datafolha, Nexus/BTG, and others confirm this gap has held through the campaign's August launch and initial TV/radio broadcasts, reflecting Lula's established voter base and the fragmented opposition field that includes lower-polling figures such as Augusto Cury, Renan Santos, and Ronaldo Caiado. Traders price scenarios that could narrow the margin—including a late surge by a third candidate or polling error—yet view Lula's first-round plurality as the high-probability outcome absent major disruptions before voting.
