Official forecasts from the National Weather Service Miami office project a Thursday high near 88–91°F under partly to mostly sunny skies, with scattered afternoon thunderstorms and southeast winds of 5–10 mph. High dew points near 78–80°F will support heat indices above 100°F but limit surface heating through cloud cover and convective cooling. Historical late-August climatology for Miami averages highs around 89°F, with 90–91°F falling within the typical upper range absent strong subsidence or clear skies. Model consensus shows minimal day-to-day variability, supporting trader emphasis on the 90–91°F bin while leaving modest room for 92–93°F if convection remains suppressed.
