Recent forecasts from agencies and models including the Met Office and regional outputs indicate a high near 23°C for São Paulo on September 18, driven by easterly flow, gradual clearing after overnight lows around 14–16°C, and limited moisture. This aligns with the tight market split between 23°C and 24°C outcomes, as small differences in afternoon cloud cover, wind speed, or boundary-layer mixing can shift the peak by 1°C. September climatology shows typical daytime maxima of 24–26°C, but the current cooler synoptic pattern has kept recent highs suppressed, adding uncertainty to precise resolution thresholds. Updated model runs and official observations over the next 24 hours will likely refine trader positioning ahead of market settlement.
