The recent passage of Typhoon Dujuan near eastern Japan has introduced cooler, moister air and increased cloud cover over the Kanto region, serving as the primary driver for trader consensus around a 27–29°C high on September 24. Japan Meteorological Agency guidance points to cloudy conditions with a 30–40% chance of scattered showers and a maximum near 26–28°C, consistent with post-storm stabilization and typical late-September climatology of 25.3°C. Ensemble models show limited warming potential under northerly flow and persistent marine influence, narrowing resolution odds while highlighting sensitivity to any unexpected clearing or residual moisture. Updated JMA forecasts and next model runs will clarify shifts before market close.
