This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Beijing Capital International Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 10 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=zbaa If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Recent rain from a cold air mass has cleared over Beijing, setting up mostly sunny to clear conditions for September 10, 2026, with official and ensemble forecasts converging on a daytime high near 28–30°C and an overnight low around 13–15°C.** After precipitation on September 7–8 dropped temperatures and left lingering moisture, skies are turning clear with light northerly to northwesterly winds. This favors strong nighttime radiative cooling under dry air, widening the diurnal range, yet models keep the minimum well above single digits. Historical September 10 averages (high ~27°C, low ~17°C) provide context, but the post-frontal setup and current guidance point to a cooler-than-average night without extreme cold. Market odds show 18°C or higher at 43.5% and 8°C or below at 38.5%, with mid-range values (10–17°C) clustered around 19–23%. This tight spread reflects genuine uncertainty in the precise minimum: small differences in cloud cover timing, wind speed, or boundary-layer moisture can shift the low by 2–3°C across model runs. Traders are weighting the balance between clear-sky cooling potential and the moderating influence of recent warm advection, with new forecast updates expected to narrow the range ahead of resolution.
