Recent National Weather Service and local model consensus points to an overnight low of 52–54°F in Denver on September 24, driven by increasing cloud cover, light rain chances from an approaching system, and northerly flow moderating temperatures after a warmer preceding period. This positions the 51°F-or-below and mid-50s bins near current market-implied odds, while the elevated 70°F-or-higher probability reflects trader weighting of forecast uncertainty, including potential model divergence on timing of the frontal passage and any downslope warming effects. Historical September lows in Denver average near 48–52°F, providing context for the current setup amid variable late-summer conditions. Updated NWS briefings and morning model runs on September 23 will likely refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.
