**Recent forecasts position 28°C as the most likely overnight minimum for Karachi on September 23, with market-implied odds reflecting model consensus around typical late-September values.** Current guidance from multiple sources shows clear skies, westerly winds, and overnight lows stabilizing near 27–28°C (roughly 81–82°F), following a brief heat spike that pushed daytime readings to 40.7°C on September 21—the highest September value in nine years. This recent extreme stemmed from weakened Arabian Sea circulation and reduced sea-breeze influence, but models indicate gradual moderation by mid-week, keeping humidity elevated while preventing sharp overnight cooling. Historical September averages place typical minimums near 25–26°C, yet short-term conditions and the absence of stronger monsoon remnants or frontal systems support the tighter clustering around 27–28°C. Traders appear to weigh the high probability of stable, humid nights against smaller chances of modest deviations from ongoing model runs or localized wind shifts. Upcoming Pakistan Meteorological Department updates and refined model outputs in the next 24–48 hours remain the key near-term drivers.
