Robust industrial demand—particularly from solar photovoltaics and electric vehicles—coupled with multi-year supply deficits fueled upside momentum, while a strengthening U.S. dollar and hawkish Federal Reserve signals on interest rates capped gains. Market-implied probabilities hinge on inflation data trajectory and USD index levels; upcoming May FOMC meeting (May 6-7) and nonfarm payrolls could sway resolution, with silver's gold correlation and Treasury yields as key benchmarks.
