Marc-Andrea Huesler holds a significant edge over Corentin Denolly in their Mexico City Challenger first-round clash on outdoor clay, reflected in trader consensus via his No. 219 ATP ranking against Denolly's No. 402, a 1-0 head-to-head lead from a 2017 clay Futures quarterfinal win (4-6, 6-2, 7-6(5)), and his 2022 title at this high-altitude venue. Both left-handers exited early from last week's San Luis Potosi Challenger—Huesler in a tight 7-6(2), 7-6(5) first-round loss to Dan Martin, Denolly after a 6-1, 6-2 second-round defeat to Tristan Schoolkate—highlighting momentum questions amid Huesler's superior 8-7 YTD record versus Denolly's 4-9. Altitude may favor Huesler's big serving, though upsets loom in Challenger play.
