Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate Atlanta will experience continued warm, dry conditions under a stable high-pressure system on September 16, with daytime highs most likely reaching the upper 80s to low 90s amid mostly sunny skies, light easterly winds, and low humidity. This aligns with the market's strong consensus around 90-91°F (55.5% implied probability) and 88-89°F (38%), reflecting trader assessment of ensemble guidance showing limited cooling compared to the seasonal average high near 83°F. Drier air advection has reduced heat indices but sustained temperatures near recent peaks in the 90s, with minimal precipitation risk supporting the narrow range. Updated National Weather Service model runs tomorrow morning represent the key upcoming data point that could shift probabilities before resolution.
