Current National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts indicate mostly sunny conditions with highs in the upper 80s for Atlanta on September 8, driving the 28.5% market-implied probability for 88-89°F as the leading outcome. Easterly winds around 10-15 mph, low precipitation chances, and building afternoon heat under partly sunny skies support this range, consistent with climatological averages near 85°F. Lower-probability bins like 86-87°F or 84-85°F reflect uncertainty in exact peak timing, cloud cover variations, or minor model adjustments before resolution. Recent cooling from mid-90s readings earlier in the week reinforces the expected moderation without major disruptions from tropical moisture or fronts.
