Recent National Weather Service and local forecasts indicate Atlanta will reach a high of 88–90°F on September 8 under sunny skies and easterly flow, following a cold front that dropped temperatures from mid-90s earlier in the week. High pressure and clear conditions support strong daytime heating, while the modified air mass and moderate winds limit further warming compared to recent peaks near 97°F. Model consensus centers on upper-80s readings, consistent with the market’s leading 88–89°F and 90–91°F bins and above the 85°F climatological average for the date. No precipitation is expected, preserving maximum insolation through afternoon peak hours.
