Forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models indicate a low in the mid-to-upper 60s for Chicago on September 15, driven by a warm, humid air mass with southwesterly flow, increasing cloud cover, and showers likely through the night that limit radiational cooling. Trader odds cluster around 59°F or below (33.5%) and 68-69°F (31%) because ensemble guidance shows modest spread in overnight minimums tied to exact precipitation timing, dew point trends, and boundary-layer mixing. Historical September averages near 59°F provide context, yet current conditions favor milder readings unless clearer skies develop earlier than projected. Updated model runs and official observations on the 15th will refine these probabilities before resolution.
