Recent National Weather Service and private meteorological model consensus points to a daily high of 90-91°F in Atlanta on September 13, supported by clear to mostly sunny skies, light northwest winds of 5-10 mph, and low humidity limiting afternoon mixing. This range sits well above the 1991-2020 September average high of 84°F yet aligns with typical late-summer warming under stable high pressure. Ensemble guidance shows minimal spread, with only isolated runs hinting at 92-93°F if boundary-layer heating exceeds expectations; lower brackets remain improbable absent unexpected cloud cover or frontal passage. Official observations from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport will resolve the market once the maximum is recorded.
