Ukrainian Vitaliy Sachko, ranked No. 180 with a career-high of 156, enters as the clear trader favorite over Germany's Max Hans Rehberg (No. 729, peak 230) in the BMW Open qualifying final on Munich's outdoor clay courts, reflecting Sachko's superior recent form and ranking edge in their first head-to-head matchup. Sachko advanced with a straight-sets win over experienced Damir Dzumhur (7-5, 6-4) in Friday's first qualifying round, building on Challenger successes like a 6-2, 6-1 rout of Francesco Forti last week. Rehberg, a local playing with home crowd support, upset Arthur Fery 6-2, 7-6(1) in Q1 but enters off a rankings slide and limited higher-level clay results lately. No reported injuries; mild spring weather poses minimal disruption risk. A main draw spot awaits the winner.
