Current National Weather Service and local forecasts for Houston on September 11 project a high in the low to mid-90s amid scattered afternoon thunderstorms driven by Gulf moisture and the sea breeze circulation. This pattern, consistent over recent days, supports the market's leading 90-91°F outcome at 40% implied probability by favoring modest peaks rather than unchecked heating. High humidity and 30-50% rain chances introduce variability, as stronger storms could suppress temperatures into the upper 80s while clearer intervals allow brief pushes toward 92-93°F. Historical September averages near 89-90°F provide baseline context, with model consensus showing limited day-to-day shifts ahead of the daily update cycle.
