Texas redistricting ahead of the 2026 midterms shifted the 25th district's boundaries to encompass heavily Republican exurban and rural areas south and west of Fort Worth alongside a smaller Democratic-leaning portion of Tarrant County, producing an R+11 Cook Partisan Voter Index and solid Republican ratings from Cook Political Report, Sabato's Crystal Ball, and other forecasters. Incumbent Republican Roger Williams faces no primary opposition and holds a substantial fundraising edge, while Democrat Dione Sims, the primary winner, has reported minimal campaign resources. These structural factors underpin the 91.5% Republican implied probability in trader consensus. A national Democratic surge, unusually high turnout in Arlington and Fort Worth, or late-cycle developments could still narrow the margin, though the district's partisan baseline makes an upset unlikely.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
