Molly Gray's decisive Democratic primary victory on August 11, securing roughly 61% against Ryan McLaren and Esther Charlestin, has anchored trader consensus around her general election prospects against Republican incumbent John Rodgers. Recent University of New Hampshire polling showed Gray ahead in head-to-head matchups by double digits or narrow margins, reflecting Vermont's consistent Democratic edge in statewide contests and her prior term as lieutenant governor. Rodgers advanced unopposed in the Republican primary, yet faces structural headwinds as the underdog in a state where Democratic nominees have historically prevailed. With the November 3 election still two months away, the market prices reflect this established matchup and limited upside for alternative outcomes.
