Recent National Weather Service and model guidance points to partly cloudy to sunny conditions over Los Angeles on September 7 following the passage of moisture from Hurricane Marie's remnants, with daytime highs most likely reaching the low to mid-80s°F. Coastal sites such as LAX are expected to see readings near 81°F while inland areas trend several degrees warmer, consistent with typical marine-layer moderation and southwesterly flow. These conditions align with the market's leading 82-83°F and 84-85°F bins, which together exceed 60% implied probability. Historical September 7 averages near 76-77°F provide context, but recent model runs show limited cooling or warming outliers that could shift results outside the 80-85°F window. Updated NWS briefings and afternoon observations on the day will refine the final recorded high.
