Current forecasts from multiple models and local observations indicate a highest temperature in San Francisco on September 20, 2026, most likely in the mid-60s°F, driven by persistent marine layer clouds and westerly onshore flow that limit daytime heating. This aligns with the market's concentration of probability on 64-67°F (70.5% implied), as the cool Pacific influence and high humidity suppress temperatures well below the 70.7°F historical average high for the date. Recent September 2026 data show similar moderated conditions with highs often in the 60s amid overcast skies, reducing the chance of warmer outliers above 70°F. Official NWS observations through the afternoon will resolve the market as solar insolation remains low.
