Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus point to a Chicago overnight low in the mid-to-upper 60s on September 10, with most runs centering near 64–67 °F under partly to mostly cloudy skies and light northerly winds. Radiative cooling will be moderated by residual cloud cover and higher dew points near 60 °F, while any earlier clearing could allow temperatures to dip a few degrees lower before sunrise. This range aligns with climatological September norms of roughly 61 °F but sits above recent warm anomalies. Trader probabilities cluster tightly across the 64–67 °F bins because small differences in nocturnal cloud cover or wind speed can shift the minimum by 2–3 °F, and resolution depends on the official Chicago O’Hare observation.
