Florida's 11th congressional district carries a Cook Partisan Voter Index of R+7 and has delivered Republican victories in every recent cycle under current lines. The seat opened after longtime incumbent Daniel Webster retired, triggering contested primaries on August 18, 2026. Joe Strada narrowly captured the Republican nomination over Carey Baker, while James Pericola won the Democratic primary; both nominees now face a November 3 general election that also includes a Libertarian candidate. Nonpartisan analysts rate the race Solid or Safe Republican, aligning with the district's voting history and the absence of major late-cycle shifts that would narrow the margin. Trader pricing reflects these structural and recent primary factors.
