Recent Met Office forecasts position a 24°C high as the most probable outcome for London on September 22, driven by a stable high-pressure system delivering sunny intervals, light southerly winds, and minimal cloud cover that supports afternoon heating without significant suppression. Ensemble guidance from ECMWF and GFS aligns closely on this central estimate, consistent with September climatology where urban heat island effects at central stations often add 1–2°C above regional averages. Trader emphasis on 23–25°C bins reflects model consensus around these values, with modest probability on 25°C if skies clear earlier than expected or on 23°C if variable afternoon cloud develops. Official updates through the weekend will refine resolution criteria tied to verified maximum readings.
