This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Chaudhary Charan Singh Intl Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 11 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=vilk If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Trader sentiment for Lucknow's September 11 highest temperature centers on monsoon-driven cloud cover and precipitation suppressing daytime heating.** Forecasts from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) and other models indicate a generally cloudy sky with thundery development possible, pointing to a maximum around 31–33°C. This aligns closely with the market's top probabilities: 32°C (44.5%), 33°C (25.5%), and 31°C (20.5%). High humidity (70–90%) and scattered showers or thunderstorms—common in September's active monsoon phase—limit solar radiation and evaporative cooling, preventing temperatures from climbing higher. Recent observations from September 9–10 showed similar conditions with highs of 32–35°C amid storms, and updated model runs continue to emphasize rain chances of 60–90% on the 11th, reinforcing the narrow range. Historical September averages near 31–33°C provide additional context, though day-to-day variability from steering patterns and rainfall timing can shift outcomes. With resolution hinging on official IMD maximum readings, the market-implied odds reflect traders weighting the consensus forecast while discounting outliers due to persistent moisture and cloudiness.
