Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus indicate an overnight low in Atlanta on September 8 near 69°F, driven by a shift to easterly flow that brings slightly cooler, drier air following weekend heat and scattered storms. Mostly clear skies expected overnight will promote radiational cooling, while moderate east winds limit further drops. This aligns with climatological averages around 68°F for the date and explains the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 68–73°F. Minor uncertainties remain from possible late-day cloud cover or wind shifts that could nudge readings a degree or two in either direction ahead of the final observation.
